Dry white spots on Chicken breast?

I buy chicken breast in bulk and freeze them in packs of 3 when I get home. I took some out last night to unthaw. This morning i noticed that on one piece of chicken there are kind of dryish, whitey spots on one side. Would the chicken just have dryed out a little in the freezer, or could it be something different? It smells fine.
