Token white people in black films? racism in the blindside movie?

I don't know anything about "Jumping the Broom", but The Blindside merely addressed the fact that racism and prejudice exists. Would you rather the film pretend that there was no racial tension in this real situation (it's a true story) and just present everything as hunky-dory?
