Would you dump your boyfriend if he wore bikinis and thongs?

Just asking because that is what happened to my friend. Not sure why he told me this but he did. I think men now days should wear whatever they feel like. I used to wear whitey tightys and they are so out. I wear boxers and bikini, boyshort and have tried the thong now and then. Does it really matter?
